The challenge
A furniture project runs on paperwork. Shop drawings to check against the spec, order acknowledgments to compare with purchase orders, ship dates to match with the install plan and punch lists to close.
Project managers spent most of their week checking documents instead of running projects. That capped how many projects each of them could take on.
How we worked together
We customized YP around BSF's projects: their specs, purchase orders, install plans and the way their project managers work, and connected it to the systems they already use.
YP does the checking and drafts the follow-up. The project manager decides.
What's live
Shop drawings checked against the spec
Every drawing version is checked against its spec item, with the differences marked before it goes to the designer.
See the use caseOrder acknowledgments checked line by line
The manufacturer's acknowledgment is checked against the purchase order: prices, finishes, quantities and ship dates.
See the use caseShip dates checked against the install plan
Every item is followed from acknowledgment to delivery, and late items are flagged before install.
See the use casePunch list items to replacement orders
Damaged or missing items become draft replacement orders and claims, each with its filing deadline.

The results
Each project manager at BSF now handles five times as many projects. A wrong finish or a late shipment is flagged early, before it reaches the job site.
