The designer’s revision is read as soon as it comes in. YP finds the spec items that the revision changes.
The change order is drafted from the revision. Added, removed and changed items are priced against the version you quoted.
All work that the change affects is found. Shop drawings, open purchase orders and items already in production are listed, and revised drawings are checked against the new spec.
Your project manager approves before anything is sent. Only then does the change order go to the client and the revised order to the factory. The new acknowledgment is checked line by line.
