Commercial invoice to customs declaration

Reads the commercial invoice and packing list, checks them against each other and drafts the customs declaration in CargoWise or your customs software. Your declarant reviews and submits it.

Drafts only. Your declarant submits every declaration
Problem

Each declaration starts from the same papers. The declarant reads the commercial invoice and packing list, copies goods descriptions, values, weights, origin and Incoterms into the declaration, checks that both documents agree and works out the customs value. Invoices come in every layout, often many lines long.

What it does

YP reads both documents, compares quantities and weights between them and fills the draft declaration. Each line carries the commodity code (CN or TARIC), origin and customs value, with freight and insurance adjusted for the Incoterm, each linked to its source.

How it works

See exactly how the work gets done.

The work starts the moment the documents arrive. A commercial invoice and a packing list for a shipment start the run, and both are read straight away.

The invoice and the packing list are checked against each other. Quantities and weights are compared across both documents, and the invoice totals are recalculated. Differences are listed and are not smoothed over.

YP fills in the draft customs declaration. Goods lines, commodity codes, origin, Incoterm and customs value go into a draft in CargoWise or your customs software.

The commodity codes come from your approved classifications. YP uses the classifications approved for that customer, and new products are flagged.

Your declarant decides what is submitted to customs. The declarant reviews the draft and submits it to customs, and nothing is filed without their approval.

The outcome

Your declarants review and submit. The retyping is gone, and every value can be traced to the source document.

For your numbers

YP drafts each declaration and checks the invoice against the packing list, so your declarants clear more shipments and fewer declarations need correcting.

How it runs

Designed for enterprise.

Private

Runs on your infrastructure. Drawings, prices, client and claims data never train a model.

Explainable

Not a black box. An AI auditor checks that every task was done as intended and proposes improvements.

Traceable

Every value links to the document, rule or record it came from. Every step is logged. A named person approves anything that leaves the building.

Your systems

Works in your ERP, CargoWise, policy system, GIS and file shares. Nothing is replaced.
