Large-loss updates for the insurer

Writes the update the insurer requires on each large or referred claim from the file notes, documents and reserve on record. Your claims handler checks and sends it.

Problem

Insurers expect a written update on every large or referred claim, on a set schedule. Each one means reading back through the file notes, emails and documents since the last report, then summarizing progress, reserve and next steps in the insurer’s format.

What it does

YP tracks when each update is due, reads everything added to the file since the last report and drafts the update in the insurer’s format. The reserve and other figures are taken from your claims system as recorded.

How it works

See exactly how the work gets done.

Each update is prepared when it is due. The reporting schedule per insurer and per claim determines when the run starts.

YP reads what has changed in the claim file. File notes, emails and documents added since the last report are read from the claims system.

The figures in the update are taken as recorded. Reserve, payments and dates come from your claims system, so the figures come from your data and not from the model.

Open actions on the claim are flagged. Outstanding documents and stalled actions are listed so that the handler can follow up.

Your claims handler decides what goes to the insurer. The handler reviews the draft, adjusts it and sends it, and no update reaches an insurer without their approval.

The outcome

Updates are drafted when they are due, from what is already on file. Your claims handlers check instead of rewriting.

01
Updates drafted when due

For every large claim, in the insurer’s format

02
Open actions flagged

Outstanding documents and stalled actions, for follow-up

03
Claims handler sends

Every update, with figures as recorded

For your numbers

YP drafts each large-loss update when it is due, so your handlers report on time and close large claims sooner.

How it runs

Designed for enterprise.

Private

Runs on your infrastructure. Drawings, prices, client and claims data never train a model.

Explainable

Not a black box. An AI auditor checks that every task was done as intended and proposes improvements.

Traceable

Every value links to the document, rule or record it came from. Every step is logged. A named person approves anything that leaves the building.

Your systems

Works in your ERP, CargoWise, policy system, GIS and file shares. Nothing is replaced.
