Problem
When customs selects goods for a physical check, it can ask for documents too, and the goods must be ready at the place on the declaration. Someone has to find every pallet, keep it out of outbound work and collect the papers. Until both are ready, the goods stay held.
What it does
YP reads the selection notice in your customs software and finds the goods in your WMS by container, pallet and carton. It checks that none of them is allocated to an order or sitting in a pick location, drafts the moves to your inspection area and collects the documents customs asked for. Your declarant submits them through your customs software.
How it works

The work starts with the inspection notice from customs. A selection for a physical check in your customs software starts the run, together with the documents customs asked for.
Every selected pallet is found in your WMS. YP finds the containers, pallets and cartons on the declaration, each with its current location.
The selected goods are kept out of your orders. Any of them that are allocated to an order or sitting in a pick location are flagged straight away.
YP prepares the moves and collects the documents. Moves to your inspection area are drafted for a forklift driver or your AGVs, and the requested documents are collected for your declarant.
Approval and submission stay with your own people. Your shift lead approves the moves and your declarant submits the documents. Your team presents the goods to the customs officer.
The outcome
Goods and papers are ready when the officer arrives. Your declarant and shift lead approve instead of searching.
